Velankanni Goa Tour

This 8 days pilgrimage tour package has a lot to offer. From the church of our Lady of Health in Velankanni, to the St. Marys Church, one of the oldest surviving English churches in Chennai, to the aesthetically carved churches and bungalows of Goa; explore the heart of the nation.

Day 01: Tiruchirappalli (Trichy)

Upon arrival at Trichy International airport meet with our representative and transfer to hotel. If time permit we will opt for temple tour of Trichy. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02 : Trichy  - Velankannivelankanni
Morning after breakfast we will leave for Velankanni, famous for the church of our Lady of Health. Said to have been built on the prompting of a vision of lady with child in arms, this church is a place of pilgrimage for Christians all over the country. On arrival, check in at hotel. Evening free for religious activities. Overnite at hotel.

Day 03: Velankanni
Visit Holy Mass at mother Velankanni church. Overnight stay at hotel. The Velankanni Church is in honor of the Lady of Health popular as the Madonna of Velankanni. Devotees to the church believe that the Lady of Health possesses miraculous powers. The Church is located on the shores of the Bay of Bengal more particularly at the Elliots beach in Besant Nagar. Completely dedicated to virgin Mary and the Heavenly Mother.


Day 04: Velankanni - Trichy - Chennai
Morning after breakfast drive to Trichy. On arrival transfer to the airport to board the flight for Chennai. On arrival transfer to the international airport to board the flight for onward destination.

Day 05: Chennaichennai-church
Morning after breakfast full day visit to Chennai Churches, visit including Fort St. George, San Thome Basilica, Theosophical Society, St. Mary's Church, Luz Church, Little Mount Church, St. Andrew's Church, Christ the King Church. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 06: Chennai - Goagoa-church1

After breakfast we will transfer to the airport to board the flight for Goa. Upon arrival at Goa airport meet with our representative and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel. Goa, an ancient Portuguese colony, which became a part of Indian republic in 1961, has traces of its ancient culture, largely writ all over its churches, bungalows and layouts of the city.

Day 07: Goa

Full day free for own activity. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 08: Goa - Departure
Transfer to the airport to board the flight for onward destination via Mumbai or Delhi.

Hemkund Sahib Yatra Tour Package

Positioned near the beautiful Valley of Flowers, Hemkund Lake is a prominent pilgrimage destination for Hindus and Sikhs. Along the shore of this meandering lake, the sacred Sikh shrine Hemkund Sahib is fortified.

It is the place where Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Guru in Sikhism, unified with God after protracted meditation in his previous birth. Nearby this shrine is located Lakshmana Temple, where Lakshmana, who was the younger brother of Rama, took penance. Thus this shrine is religiously and historically significant for both the Hinduism and Sikhism.

Day 01: Arrival Delhi – Haridwar

On arrival at Delhi airport/railway station, meet our represnetaive who will be there for your welcome and afterwards to drive you to Haridwar, which is about 5 to 6 hours long journey. On reaching, check in at the already booked hotel in Haridwar. Later in the evening, we will pay a visit to Mansa Devi temple to offer prayers. Also, we will attend Ganga aarti at Har Ki Peri. Afterwards, we will return back to the hotel for a relaxing overnight stay


Day 02: Haridwar – Pipalkoti

In the morning after breakfast, we will check out from the hotel in Haridwar and drive to Pipalkoti via Rishikesh Devprayag, Rudrapryag and Karanparyag. Later in the evening on reaching Pipalkoti, we will check in at the already booked hotel and enjoy a soothing overnight stay.

Day 03: Pipalkoti – Govindghat – Ghangaria

Today after breakfast in the morning, we will leave by road for Govindghat. On the way, we will stop at Joshimath to visit Adi Shankaracharya Math and Narsingh Mandir. Afterwards, we will continue our drive to Govindghat. On reaching, we will start trekking from here to Ghangaria. Check in at the pre-booked Guest House in Ghangaria for a comfortable overnight stay.

DAY 04: Ghangaria - Hemkund Sahib - Ghangaria


After breakfast in the morning, we will start trekking to Hemkund Sahib. On reaching, we will take a holy dip in Hemkund and afterwards proceed for the darshan of Shri Hemkund Sahib Ji. Afterwards, we will trek back to Ghangaria and take pleasure of an overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 05: Ghangaria - Govindghat - Rudraprayag


We will start our day a bit early in the morning and trek down to Govindghat. Here, we will meet our driver and leave by road for Rudrapryag, via Joshimath, Chamoli and Karanprayag. On reaching, check in at the already booked hotel for an overnight stay.


Rudraprayag is the meeting point of two significant rivers i.e. Alaknanda and Mandakini River.

Temples: Rudranath and Chamunda Devi, Koteshwar Temple (3 Kms).

Day 06: Rudraprayag - Rishikesh
In the morning after breakfast, we will drive to Rishikesh via Srinagar Garhwal. On the way, we will stop at Devprayag, the Confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi River to visit the meeting point. Afterwards, we will continue our drive to Rishikesh. On reaching, check in at the pre-booked hotel for relaxing overnight stay.

Day 07: Rishikesh – Delhi

On the last day of our tour, we will have breakfast in the morning and afterwards get ready to drive back to Delhi. On reaching, get direct transfer to Delhi airport/railway station to board flight or train for onwards destination.

Mystras: Wonder of the Morea

Mystras, the 'wonder of the Morea', was built as an amphitheatre around the fortress erected in 1249 by the prince of Achaia, William of Villehardouin. Reconquered by the Byzantines, then occupied by the Turks and the Venetians, the city was abandoned in 1832, leaving only the breathtaking medieval ruins, standing in a beautiful landscape.

Mystras in Greece is an archaeological site close to Sparti, in the region of Laconia. The Castle Town of Mystras was very strong in the Byzantine times and actually in the last decades of the Byzantine period, this was the second most important town after Constantinople. On top of the castle hill, there was the Palace of the Despots, while Mystras Greece is mostly famous for its several Byzantine churches with the interesting architecture and the valuable frescoes. Below the Medieval Castle, a new village has been constructed, where many traditional accommodation is found. The region around is crossed by many trekking paths, leading to beautiful spots. 


The archaeological site of Mystras in Greece is located 5 km from the town of Sparta, in Laconia Peloponnese, mainland Greece. This is one of the most important sites in Greece and includes well-preserved Byzantine churches, the remains of a Palace and strong walls. The most famous churches are Agios Demetrios, where Konstantinos Paleologos, the last Byzantine Emperor was crowned, and Agioi Theodoroi with beautiful frescoes.

Today the Palace of Mystras and some churches are under restoration process. In the courtyard of Agios Demetrios, you can visit the Archaeological Museum with many Byzantine and ecclesiastical exhibits. In 1989, it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Monument.Things to do in the region include hiking and cycling.

Godrej adds more products under its premium brand NXW

Godrej Appliances, under its brand NXW, is set to launch products such as ACs, washing machines, microwave ovens in the premium segment, whilst expanding their physical reach by way of adding up to 65 exclusive brand outlets. Godrej Appliances’ Business Head and EVP Kamal Nandi also added that apart from these, there will be more launches as well.


Talking about the focus on premium segment, Nandi said: “That’s a clear focus for us in 2016 to make our presence stronger in premium categories. We are looking forward to acquiring share in the premium segment where we were not present.” Other than that, the company will also focus to expand its network of exclusive brand outlets (EBOs).

“We have started building exclusive outlets across the country. By the end of 2015, we had 35 and by December 2016, we would be getting close to 100,” he said. Nandi also added that NXW products would also be available in those non-metro markets as it sees potential customers in those regions for premium products. Additionally, the company is also looking at export markets with some NXW products, which are designed keeping in mind requirements overseas.
